- Notes
- Processes NASA POWER/MERRA-2 series at five points from 1 January 1981 through 31 August 2026. Computes anomalies against 1991–2020, temperature trends, and positive degree days; it does not use ERA5 or ERA5-Land. No in-situ station cross-validation or separate attribution of anthropogenic forcing versus circulation was established. The full JJA metric includes days after 26 August; event-truncated PDD and full-season metrics must remain distinct.
